Homeless man rescues animals from a burning shelter in the USA
Keith Walker, 53, who lives on the street, rushed to a flaming animal shelter to rescue them as firefighters were waiting for animal control.
"I was damn nervous, I'm not lying. I was really afraid to go in there, in this smoke. But God put me there to save these animals," Walker said in a comment to the TV channel.
"If you love a dog, you can love everyone in the world. My dog is my best friend, and I would not be here without him. So I knew that I had to save all these dogs," the man added.

FORT WORTH BASED PIER ONE IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND CLOSING ALL ITS 540 OUTLETS
Pier One, the retailer of chairs and tables, announced that they are closing their business and shutting every 540 of its outlets.
After organizing insolvency insurance early this year, the Fort-worth based company stated on Tues that it could not locate a buyer for their business.
Pier One has competition with online-stores such as Wayfair & Amazon, which offer less price couches and tables that are easily shipped to doors.
1 KILLED IN NORTHEAST FORT WORTH STREET RACE
1 individual is killed in a street race accident on Sunday in Northeastern Fort-Worth.
Cops and Rescue reacted briefly after 9:00 p.m. to a site in the Northern University Drive 301 block.
The accident occurred as 2 cars were racing at high-velocity rates, Cop added.
At the site, the passenger of the car was declared dead whereas the driver was charged and taken to the medical facility for checkup.
That crash is now under inquiry, according to the officials.

When two people tried to invade into the house on early Sun through the front gate of a Fort Worth house, the property owner took out his gun and shot would-be robber, cops stated.
The alleged burglary of the house occurred shortly around Six am. As per cops, in the 2700 block of Northwestern 34th Avenue. The property owner fired at them when 2 persons wearing black pushed open the main house front gate and attempted to get in there and walking suspiciously.
Cops identified those 2 persons afterward, and they were arrested.

MON MURDERED HER EIGHT-YEAR-OLD GIRL AND THEN COMMIT SUICIDE
A woman fired her 8-year-old child at home on Monday afternoon before committing suicide.
Soon after midnight, Thirty-five year old barricaded herself, and her 2 daughters at home in the 501 block of Highcrest Drive.
After a fight with her spouse, she opened fire on him, the guy contacted the police, cops stated.
Cops from Dallas S.W.A.T guarded the house during the early morning while cops closed off the neighborhood. Just before 3:30 a.m. one kid — a Twelve-year-old — only managed to run away uninjured.
FIVE PERSONS CHARGED OF CAPITAL MURDER OF TWO YOUNG MAN
5 individuals— 3 of them were teenagers — were arrested with charges of firing and killing the two young men at a Dallas petrol-station in the earlier Fri morning, cops confirmed.
Cops said they responded at around 6 am to the firing. At Exxon-Station, Bruton street. Approaching police identified 2 men, Jason-Bays, Seventeen, and Christian Marmolejo, Twenty-one, who had died from firing injuries in the parking garage.
During the inquiry, cops claim the 2 young people were seated in a vehicle's front seat, with 2 girls in the car park lot's passenger seat. At a certain moment, a red Dodge stepped into the lot and stopped next to the vehicle of the victims.
3 gunned suspects stepped out of the Dodge, as per cops, and a conflict occurred among them.
Cops said that the two victims were trying to go away but then they were shot next to their vehicle. They were declared expired at the site.
Cops also told that the 2 girls within the vehicle of the suspects got out and went into the Dodge. The initial 3 suspects re-entered the Vehicle and drove away from the area.
Shorelark Drive's 8900 building quickly collapsed the Charger, cops reported. An observer who called officials after seeing the 5 individuals get out of the vehicle and away, cops say.
In the end, inquiries have decided that the 5 suspects. Even more data wasn't immediately announced on each of their participation.
All 5 were detained into Dallas state prison where each was charged of murder.

Pace Bend Park, Milton Reimers Ranch Park, Arkansas Bend Park and Mansfield Dam Park closed on Saturday because of a large number of park visitors, according to a tweet from Travis County Parks.
In a tweet the department said, the parks will re-open again tomorrow with limited capacity.
Pace Bend Park closed at around 10 a.m. and Milton Reimers Ranch Park closed at around 12 p.m. Arkansas Bend Park and Mansfield Dam Park closed at nearly 1 p.m.
San Marcos Discovery Center starting online sale of plants from Saturday
According to a press release, the San Marcos Discovery Center is starting a new Online Store and offering curbside pickup for plants from Saturday. It is a limited-period sale and will wrap up till June.
The sale will go live weekly from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday at the Discovery Center, located at 430 Riverside Drive, and willing customers can schedule plant pickups.
Conrad Chappell, Discovery Center Specialist, said, “Spring is a great time to plant more natives, and the Discovery Center wants to help people connect with nature while at home.”
According to the spokesperson for the Center, the online store has a great variety of plants for sale, including trees, grasses, milkweed, and herbs. The plant prices are based on their pot sizes and starting from $2.50 for a four-inch pot.
“By growing these plants in their yards or at their businesses, our customers are sustaining pollinators, conserving water, and providing habitats to birds and other species,” said Chappell. “We have curated our inventory and kept it as affordable as possible to help nurture a healthy, diverse ecosystem in our region.”
Customers can also buy t-shirts and make donations for the partnership-based San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District monarch butterfly waystations.
A man from Austin, Texas found dead in Rochester on Tuesday night
A man from Austin, Texas, was found dead on the southeast side of Rochester, New York, and police are searching for the suspect.
According to Police officers, policemen responded at around 8:45 p.m. to Boardman Street off Monroe Avenue on Tuesday.
During the investigation, a large portion of the residential street was closed for traffic.
The victim as 56-year-old Todd Hamilton and Hamilton belonged to Texas on Friday morning. Police are unable to find his connection with Rochester.
According to police, it was not a random act of violence.
