Roblox Adopt Me | Mean Girl
~Hello! This is my first short story, that happened to me in real life!~
So, I was just playing Roblox, then went to Adopt Me. I was doing stuff, taking care of my pet, all that boring stuff, you know? Then, a girl walks up to me, what should I call her? Jenny, ok Jenny asks for a pet in the chat, she keeps asking for one. SO, I go to her house, and give her a cat, I go to the main area, then Jenny sends me a friend request. I accept it, to be nice. Then, Jenny teleports to me and says, 'I don't like cheap pets, give me a rare one.' I give her a rare pet hoping she would leave me alone, but nope! She keeps asking for more, so I ignore her and join a different server, but since she's friends with me, she joined my game. She kept saying what a bully I was, and people BELIEVED her. Like, what?? They kept reporting me and I got kicked out of the game. I'm not saying don't help people, I'm saying don't help the wrong people.
Introduction to me!
Hello! I'm Anne Guildenstern, that's not my real name though. Heh, you can call me Anne. I just talk about random things I guess. But thats okay, right? Thats all! No other information needed.

A police officer from Northern California is under investigation after a video has surfaced in which he was captured punching a 14-year-old black boy. He had pinned the boy to the ground. The video was posted by the family and friends of the boy on Twitter. It showed an officer from Rancho Cordova that is a city in the east of Sacramento holding him in the dirt at the point with his hand on his neck and striking him several times in the chest. The boy was cited for possession of a tobacco product, according to the police, and released to his parents. A person who identified themselves on Twitter as the boy’s sister said it was a Swisher Sweet, a type of cigar.
I am writing to you to tell you that we need to put politics aside for once. All America has been the last decade or so is so politically motivated.People do not care for one another's opinions or beliefs but their own there are few of those people in America that do.This past election has raised issues across the country. Not only has the president been decided but Americas fate has been too.See we are so divided with one another that we forget about the upcoming generation who we as adults and elders influence their beliefs.I have seen this affect in many households around me.Part of my family is liberal while the other is Conservative which affects my views on politics. My family’s friends in which I have visited often their children the future of this country are taking in their parents beliefs.Although this is not true for most families as we all have that one child whose views on politics are completely different from everyone else's.But I am not a particular party as I have claimed to be republican to please my family. Although I may have “Conservative” views on politics I also have “liberal” thinking as well.See i have always gone with the flow of our country’s politics whether its a Democrat or a Republican sitting in the beloved Oval Office.Everyone seems to think the President has this magical power to make everything happen when in reality he has none at all;the real power lies within congress which for years has been clashing over stupid party politics. It’s time our country sees the writing on the wall as the fall of “The Great American Democracy” falls. It will fall due to the vast majority of Americans being divided against each other fighting over part politics our Founding fathers warned us about what having two political parties would do to our democracy and the people of the United States take it from John Adams who said “There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.”Washington also agreed saying in his farewell speech “The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind, (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight,) the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.It always serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another. There is an opinion, that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the Government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of Liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in Governments of a Monarchical cast, Patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in Governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And, there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be, by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.” These are two of our Founding Fathers one of which would go to a political war with his own best friend due to the own two party system he warned about. America has most certainly changed a lot since the famous signing of our Independence. Our Country’s democracy is held by a small microscopic thread which is slowly disappearing. The future Americans being born or growing up are being influenced not only by family but the world around the whether it’s school or it’s other kids parents. If you asked anyone young american growing up in this nation about politics they would not have the concept to come up with opinion on their own.A child growing up in a conservitive household is more likely to reflect those views or vice-versa.The way American is going is down a path in which will make our country look weak. Most countries already look at us that way.We act like the world revolves around our country when it does not.We have start to become the laughing stock of this world because of our politics and how we bash each other over the smallest things possible when much worse is happening around the world and in our own backyard. So I am asking for Americans of all races, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, etc to
Unite as one to show that America is still strong as the great president Abraham Lincoln said “ A house divided against itself cannot stand.” I want you to read these words from John F. Kennedy’s inaugural speech they mean as much today as they did then.He said “We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom--symbolizing an end as well as a beginning--signifying renewal as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forbears prescribed nearly a century and three-quarters ago.The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more.To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided there is little we can do--for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder. To those new states whom we welcome to the ranks of the free, we pledge our word that one form of colonial control shall not have passed away merely to be replaced by a far more iron tyranny. We shall not always expect to find them supporting our view. But we shall always hope to find them strongly supporting their own freedom--and to remember that, in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside. To those people in the huts and villages of half the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required--not because the communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right. If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.To our sister republics south of our border, we offer a special pledge--to convert our good words into good deeds--in a new alliance for progress--to assist free men and free governments in casting off the chains of poverty. But this peaceful revolution of hope cannot become the prey of hostile powers. Let all our neighbors know that we shall join with them to oppose aggression or subversion anywhere in the Americas. And let every other power know that this Hemisphere intends to remain the master of its own house. To that world assembly of sovereign states, the United Nations, our last best hope in an age where the instruments of war have far outpaced the instruments of peace, we renew our pledge of support--to prevent it from becoming merely a forum for invective--to strengthen its shield of the new and the weak--and to enlarge the area in which its writ may run. Finally, to those nations who would make themselves our adversary, we offer not a pledge but a request: that both sides begin anew the quest for peace, before the dark powers of destruction unleashed by science engulf all humanity in planned or accidental self-destruction.We dare not tempt them with weakness. For only when our arms are sufficient beyond doubt can we be certain beyond doubt that they will never be employed. But neither can two great and powerful groups of nations take comfort from our present course--both sides overburdened by the cost of modern weapons, both rightly alarmed by the steady spread of the deadly atom, yet both racing to alter that uncertain balance of terror that stays the hand of mankind's final war.So let us begin anew--remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness, and sincerity is always subject to proof. Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate.Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us.Let both sides, for the first time, formulate serious and precise proposals for the inspection and control of arms--and bring the absolute power to destroy other nations under the absolute control of all nations.Let both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors. Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths and encourage the arts and commerce.Let both sides unite to heed in all corners of the earth the command of Isaiah--to "undo the heavy burdens . . . (and) let the oppressed go free."And if a beachhead of cooperation may push back the jungle of suspicion, let both sides join in creating a new endeavor, not a new balance of power, but a new world of law, where the strong are just and the weak secure and the peace preserved. All this will not be finished in the first one hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days, nor in the life of this Administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin. In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe. Now the trumpet summons us again--not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need--not as a call to battle, though embattled we are-- but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation"--a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself. Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North and South, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind? Will you join in that historic effort? In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility--I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it--and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man. Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.”-John F. Kennedy inaugural address January 20th,1961
My final words are this: America throw away all your prejudices and hate for each other's opinions and beliefs because if you don’t we are sure to fall really hard.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said sanctions were imposed on two Iranian officials in connection with human rights violations.
We are talking about sanctions against Ali Hemmatian and Massoud Sardari. They are followers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. They are accused of involvement in arbitrary detention, torture and "other forms of inhuman treatment of political prisoners and persons detained during the protests that took place in Iran in 2019 and 2020."
The sanctions stipulate that these officials and their family members are now barred from entering the United States.
A MALE DIED IN SHOOTING IN MEMPHIS
"We have seen individuals screaming and yelling and all going to come out." Folks as well as cops across Maury Road were after a man shot to death at 9:45 p.m. outside a townhouse tower. Monday, in the Maury Street 800 section.
Neighbors in the Vollintine Evergreen Historic District informed a local new channel as they were there as they saw rescuer taking man who was not breathing well.

Memphis code enforcement officers say they lack training, resources for corona-virus pandemic
The rundown of trivial organizations that must close could keep on developing, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said for the current week, however a few officials who are bridging the city and closing the organizations down said they are frightened for their lives.
Code requirement officials said they haven't been prepared for the worldwide corona-virus pandemic or given enough assets to remain safe.
They're trusting the City of Memphis will make changes to give more secure conditions.
"They're not setting us up appropriately, and they're fundamentally sending us to our demises," one code implementation official told WREG.
A gathering of code Memphis Code Enforcement officials claims they're working in dread of contracting COVID-19.
Code requirement officials who talked with WREG said laborers got a one-hour instructional class for these phenomenal occasions, and various solicitations for additional covers have been denied.
"Presently their reason is they can't think that its, despite the fact that we informed them concerning along these lines before provisions went short," one official said.
The City of Memphis denied WREG's solicitation to talk with Public Works Director Robert Knecht, rather giving an explanation that said "The city is following all prescribed rules for staff PPE necessities," and "supplies are being renewed at the earliest opportunity."
The Shelby County Health Department demanded they are helping out code requirement as typical.
"We have verifiable cooperated to address issues this way," Shelby County Health Department Director Alisa Haushalter said. "So we'll keep on cooperating and decide for every infraction who's ideal to mediate, regardless of whether it's codes or well being."
Laborers reacted to that by saying these occasions call for new rules.
"It's hard to draw in with somebody from six feet away," one official said. "More often than not, on the off chance that they're extremely furious, they're going to get somewhat nearer than six feet."
Regardless of whether code requirement gets all the more preparing and gear or another office helps share the remaining task at hand, officials seeking after a change.
"There should be greater gear," an official said. "There most likely should be a superior perspective to deal with this—to protect us."
WREG will refresh this story on the off chance that we are permitted a meeting with the City of Memphis or gain proficiency with any new data.

A Vermont Downtown Mall Is a High School Now
The Downtown Burlington High School opened March 4, about six months after school administrators closed the existing school, just under 2 miles away, because toxic industrial chemicals known as PCBs were found in the building and soil during renovations. That left students stuck at home learning remotely for much of the school year during the coronavirus pandemic.
As school officials looked for space where students could attend school in-person, they eventually eyed the empty department store, which closed in 2018. They talked with architects and learned it was a possibility, said Superintendent Tom Flanagan.
The building underwent a $3.5 million retrofit supported by the state that added partial walls for classrooms while keeping some Macy’s remnants, like the sparkly white tile floors, bright red carpeting, and Calvin Klein and Michael Kors signs and a large-scale Levi’s jeans photo on a classroom wall. The library is housed in the former Macy’s china department, with books displayed on under-lit shelves, while the gym is in a former store’s warehouse and is still unfinished.
