CHARLOTTE, N.C -Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after they say that a man sexually assaulted, choked and robbed a woman in the North Charlotte Greenway on Sunday afternoon. It's been around 4 p.m. On Mallard Creek Greenway off Mallard Creek Church Road, near North Tryon Street.
Officials said the suspect arrived at the park with the woman, assaulted her and sexually assaulted her, and then robbed her before leaving the area.

Harrossburg, N.C. — Two people died after an Amtrak subway train and a vehicle collided on Monday in Harrisburg, North Carolina, officials said.

In the interview, she told me that a phone call came and told her that he has kidnapped her daughter. The scam caller told her that he has her daughter. At first, she didn’t believe him, but then he told her the exact information about her daughter that what was her name, where was she living and in which school she was studying. The women than on another phone made a call to 911. Then she told the whole conversation to 911 operators about the scam phone call.
Upon investigation, the 911 operator told her that the phone call was a scam. The phone call was made from Mexico and the caller got the information about her daughter from social media. The operator told the women that they will get the caller very soon. When the woman got back home she saw her daughter there and then realized that the operator was correct that it was a scam call.
FBI informed the people that whenever they get such a call do their best to reach their child as soon as possible. After that inform the police so that they can catch such people who are spreading such terror in different areas of Chicago.

These 13 properties, the authorities stated, would get BEST an income of Rs 25 lakh for each month and about Rs 3 crore a year. "These properties have been lying unfilled… we are attempting to generate income without touching the fares,” the official said.
