Catalytic converter thefts in Hyde Park
Chicago police have reported the case of catalytic converter thefts in Hyde Park on the Southside of the city. All the thefts were reported in February and March from the parked vehicles. The first case of catalytic converter theft was reported in the 5400 blocks of South Dorchester Avenue between 12:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. on February 21. Another catalytic converter was stolen on March 3 between 6:15 p.m. and 8:45 a.m. in the 5100 blocks of South Dorchester Avenue.
Both of the cases of catalytic converter thefts were reported in the South Dorchester Avenue of Hyde Park in Chicago. Area Central detectives are deployed in this case of stealing. The police have urged the people with any information related to the case to come up and inform the detectives at 312-747-8380.
