Iconic lions’ giant wreaths for beloved Chicago
Chicago, United States Of America
The holiday season is knocking, and the Art Institute of Chicago received it with a road. The iconic lions out front are all decked out for the 28th year. During the unveiling ceremony, a small crowd gathered outside the museum on Friday morning. Shirley McAlpine, along with her husband, came to see the ceremony for the first time after they moved out of Chicago 7 years ago. She said it is essential to create her traditions, and she likes the way Christmas started here. Her husband Dan said his family loves family traditions, especially his daughter. The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus has helped everyone to take in the holiday spirit on the day after Thanksgiving. Giant decorations were placed during the event. Nora Gainer of the Art Institute of Chicago said in her statement that people have always used the museum to gather around the holiday. They have invited as many people as possible to enjoy the unveiling.
