Installation for Dior Couture Show Set c Chicago
Installation for Dior Couture Show Set created by artist Judy Chicago
“The Female Divine” is the new artwork created by the feminist artist Judy Chicago. It will go on show to the public at the Rodin Museum in Paris from Jan 21 to Jan 26. Maria Grazia Chiuri hired Judy Chicago to design the set of her spring haute couture show, which is going to take place on Jan 20 in the Rodin Museum. The general public will be able to see it from Jan 21 to Jan 26. 80-year-old Chicago is known for her Seventies installation “The Dinner Party,” which highlighted the role of women in the history from Boadicea to Virginia Woolf. It featured hand-painted plates that depicted elaborated stylized vulvas. For this show, she created an immersive space that featured an oversized goddess figure.
