Bright ideas to be on display on 15th Feb during Science and Engineering Fair of Houston.
One of the questions that curious minds may think is which OTC medicine dissolves fastest in an acidic stomach, Ibuprofen, acetaminophen or aspirin? Lemon juice can be the key to this discovery. Or a question about the recyclable materials that can be used in “solar ovens” to harness the heat of the sun to cook food may pop-up in another mind.
The students from different schools of southeast Texas are going to provide an answer to such questions during the 61st annual Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH). The event is presented by Chevron and the University of Houston STEM Center. It will run from 8 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturday, 15th Feb at the George R. Brown Convention Center. SEFH attracts more than 1000 middle school and high school students. The projects have been categorized into 17 science fair categories that range from medicine, health, physics, mechanical engineering and more.
