The forecasters had been issuing warnings regarding the windstorms since Wednesday, which was one of the busiest air and road travel days of the year. However, the intensity of the winds started earlier than what was expected as per the National Weather Service. The forecasts experts have issued an urgent warning to the motorists against driving unless the conditions are necessary.
