The snow, which started in the daylights of Wednesday, extended to the night in the Chicago area. The resident was welcomed by more wintry weather and a blast of sharp winter, which is assumed to be on its way to Chicago. Various winter advisories were released across multiple Chicago suburbs and in the northwestern part of Indiana. Few advisories issued are:
- A winter weather advisory has been issued till 6 PM on Thursday in the Laporte County of Indiana.
- The winter weather advisory will extend until 9 PM on Thursday in Lake and Porter of Indiana.
- The advisory in Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, and Grundy counties in Illinois and Newton and Jasper counties in Northwest Indiana started at 2 PM on Wednesday and will continue till noon on Thursday.
The winter weather advisory has warned of snow of up to 5 inches for some counties, whereas the warning is of 2 to 4 inches in other counties.
