Ohio hospital prepares to perform elective surgeries
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all the hospital's worldwide have to cancel elective surgeries. Now, Ohio hospitals are setting up to perform elective surgeries, but this excludes surgeries requiring an overnight stay and extensive use of PPE kits. Lisa Jones-Anspach a resident of Middletown has been in a car crash and survived with injuries was supposed to have surgery on her neck in March but it was postponed due to the pandemic, she says "It upset me because I had prepared myself for it. You get excited that maybe you're going to get better and feel better. It's hard to be strong to handle this. It's depressing. I'm so depressed." The Ohio hospital is now busy planning on how to carry out these elective procedures safely, Dr Shay O'Mara, Chief of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery said "The backlog is considerable. It's thousands of patients, we need to get them in and get them in safely. That's really our challenge
now is helping the community understand how safe it is to come in and get things done."
Dr O'Mara added that "What they are going to see is a lot of changes toward safety. A reduction of the number of people who are in the facility, checking people for temperature and symptoms when they show up, keeping space in between, things as radical as you have to wait in your car while your loved one gets an operation so you don't get exposed and aren't exposed to other people."
Jones-Anspach who's surgery is scheduled for the end of May said "I'm worried I won't be able to have my family with me. I'm scared to death already because it's pretty major surgery,I was
told there was a chance I could get the virus while I'm in there. I'm scared about that too." Regardless Jones-Anspach is determined to stay positive and not let her outweigh her pain. She said "I have to get it over with. I have to get it over with. I've been thinking about it. I have to get back to the way I was before."

Many businesses owners are reopening their businesses defying Governor’s order
Many local business owners risking fines and jail time to reopen their businesses to fight the crisis broke upon all in place of closing it for good.
Earlier in the week, Governor Doug Ducey had to extend the stay-at-home order through May 15to keep public safe soon after hundreds of conservatives marched on the Arizona Capitol Building, asking the governor to reopen Arizona's economy.
Governor had also declared fines for the restaurants and bars that defy the order and even have to suffer jail time.
Ducey said to reporters on Wednesday: "I'm asking for that going forward. If that's not there, this is an order that is enforceable by law, a violation is a $2,500 fine and up to six months in jail," "And for those that own an establishment and are publicly going to flout the order, you are playing with your liquor license. Don't do that."
Despite these threats, one local business owner thought that there is no other option else to open back up, even after some detectives warned on cancellation of business' liquor license.
Great 48! is a Facebook group that aims to reopen businesses and let them stay open. It is gaining massive popularity amongst small businesses and has quickly garnered nearly thousands of Facebook members.

Mesa Doctor aims at testing 500 people daily to achieve a bigger target of the month
Many people are willing to get tested all around the city. Marcus Davis, one of many tested at a COVID-19 testing facility, said, "My wife's sick, so I might as well get tested" in Mesa.
Dr. Doug Maready aims to test at least 500 people every day as a part of the Arizona Department of Health Service's goal to test 30,000-60,000 people in the next three weekends.
This task is only possible because of the assistance of the National Guard. Dr. Maready says the logistical help allows him to work to achieve the target.
The visitors should register themselves before arriving for the test on the testing site. Although there are devices available to register on-site as well.
According to Dr. Maready, anyone experiencing mild symptoms or have any contact history to a positive person should get tested with or without insurance at no cost.
The test is done with a nasal swab, which takes seconds, and results are declared in minutes.
According to Maready, "The swab tells you if you're actively infected. The antibody test is interesting to know, but right now, it's not the information we need."
After receiving results as positive, Maready says his practice will follow-up with the next care steps at no cost.

It says as follows:"Deyr fé, deyja frændr, deyr sjálfr it sama. ek veit einn at aldrei deyr, dómr um dauðan hvern."In English:"Cows die, kinsmen die, so must die oneself the same.
