Irish Martinez or her family did not have a jovial mother's day this year. The family grief's for their son, they lost in hit and run case. As described by Irish Martinez, her all the children visited her yet her heart ached as her youngest son, Tony could not make it neither would be able to make ever again.
Anthony Martinez, 39, was struck and killed, last Sunday, by a hit and run driver in Adams County.
Mrs. Mertinez has been the most agonized one since. She urged that whoever has done it must come forward because it was wrong and she lost her boy forever. He always tried to help people. The last time they met him was the day before he passed away.
After the brief investigation, Investigators at the Colorado State Patrol stated, he was hit by the Southbound vehicle while he was walking by eastbound, in a crosswalk at West 60th Avenue & Federal Boulevard. And describe the vehicle it as a mid-2000s Nissan King Cab, with the front end damage might be missing part of the grill, the front Nissan emblem and perhaps the front bumper.

Fort Collins sports company planning to start youth baseball and softball from June 1
The pandemic had caused all the sports to stop, and the player are in their homes without any practice for long. Many softball and baseball players have not done batting practice from much time, but this week the players in Fort Collins got a chance to practice.
"It's like the best feeling ever after being cooped up at home," said softball player Tatum Aragon.
High school-aged players who play for the traveling team got a chance to practice at Triple Crown Sports complex. But the coach kept all the safety measures as he sprayed the baseball and dugouts with disinfectant before and after practice.
Founder David King said players said that all the players are maintaining social distancing by splitting the teams into three groups of 5 players. According to him, social distancing will also help players when they play a game.
King also believes by this method of social distancing; he can also help to organize a game by June 1, keeping everyone safe. This plan includes masks worn by all the batters, defensive infielders, and the umpire.
King had already sent a proposal to the governor's office. The spokesperson from the governor's office said, "We will work with our public health experts to determine if it can be done safely."
Lockdown has been extended to May 8
As we all know, coronavirus is spreading at a breakneck speed so stay at home order ended last week but has been extended now till May 8.
Officers of Denver made an announcement that the mayor has extended the stay at home order on Monday. The news conference will be helped by Denver mayor Michel Hancock for the further reopening of businesses in Denver on Tuesday afternoon.
Many of the businesses owners, as well as employees, are waiting to get back to their earlier lives.
On May 9, they all are expecting to reopen the businesses.
The business owner said they will take all safety measures after reopening. The customers will be maintaining distance in the shop, or they will make them stay in the car and give their items in their vehicle.
All the customers, employees and owner will be wearing a mask for safety.
Tailors are there to make masks for all the customers who have no mask.no one knows when the business will reopen and come back to normal, but everyone has hope for safely opening of companies.

Armed suspects impersonated as delivery men foraged into a westminster home
10200 block of Newton Court, Westminster, Colo. witnessed a mysterious event at about 8:30 pm on Friday night. Four adult black males were accused of invading a house in construction type clothes seen with a handgun underneath the package one of them was holding, according to the details described by the owner of the house.
They foraged the entire house but any theft hasn’t been confirmed yet. The owner of the house wasn’t injured during the incident.
The suspects were last witnessed driving a white coloured truck out of the area in a rash manner. The truck had logos similar to that of Fed Ex and the windows seemed to be cracked and taped up.
The police is in search of all four of them. Anyone with information relevant to this case is requested to confess it to the Westminster Police.
21-year-old sentenced 50 years imprisonment to kill a girl in Park County
On Friday, 21-year-old Joshua Thomsen was sentenced for 50 years of imprisonment for killing 21-year-old Amy Shrieves, according to the judgment by Judge William B Bain.
His imprisonment sentence includes 46 years for second-degree murder and four years for tampering with a deceased human body. He has to serve both consecutively.
Thomsen was declared guilty for both the crimes in January 2020, after he initially submitted a not guilty plea in November 2019.
He was arrested after he shot Colorado Springs resident in the back of the head in Park County. Before this, he also drove the dead body to Walmart on 8th Street in Colorado Springs in April of 2019.
According to the arrest affidavit, Thomsen told investigators that he was called by Shrieves to help her in killing herself. He also said that both of them met at a Cinemark Tinseltown Movie Theater and then drove to Eleven Mile State Park, where the shoot took place.
According to the investigators' interrogation, Thomsen shot her four or five times in the head. Then he placed her in the car and drove her to Walmart.
Thomsen also told that he texted Shrieves's ex-boyfriend from her phone about her death and the shooting so that he doesn't get to know from someone else.
Colorado Springs Police also found a .45 semi-automatic pistol in his car, which he got from Park County scene.
According to the documents from the court, Thomsen has to come to court again on September 25th,2020.
Denver hospital employees resent the administration's lack of responsibility in supplying PPE
Denver Health workers are coming together on Tuesday to get a seat in the hospital's executive
table as they are vexed with hospital policies and lack of proper PPE kits and sick time.

and expect us to dip into our paid time off," said a Denver Health employee anonymously to keep
her identity private fearing risk of retaliation.

Coronavirus cases rise in Louisiana
Louisiana Health Department stated that the number of coronavirus in Louisiana grew by 183
thus taking up the total number of deceased cases to 2,213.

La inflación interanual se ubicó en 4.210%, aseguró el diputado Alfonso Marquina.
El diputado a la Asamblea Nacional, Alfonso Marquina, reveló este lunes 11 de mayo que la inflación del mes de abril fue del 80%, y a la vez, responsabilizó a la dictadura de Nicolás Maduro por el agravamiento de la crisis económica. La inflación interanual se ubicó en 4.210%, mientras que la inflación acumulada en 341,61%. Desde la Asamblea Nacional presentamos el índice nacional de precios al consumidor y la inflación por rubros en el mes de abril, agregó Marquina. La Asamblea Nacional alertó que los rubros más afectados en abrir fueron la salud, bebidas alcohólicas y tabaco, alquiler de vivienda, y transporte, que experimentaron una inflación de más del 100 %, tan solo en dicho mes. El sector salud registró un alza inflacionaria de 162,44%, seguido por el de bebidas alcohólicas y tababo (132,66%), alquiler de viviendas (112,28%), transporte (105,57%) y vestido y calzado con 70,32%. El problema sigue siendo la usurpación y sus medidas de hambre, concluyó Marquina.
