Semitrailer driver dead in the wake of slamming into cargo train
The driver of a semitrailer is dead in the wake of slamming into a cargo train conveying coal in northeastern Colorado on Friday. The crash occurred at a rail crossing close to the Peetz town, Nebraska outskirt at around 5 p.m. A representative for the Colorado State Patrol says the semitrailer got burned following the accident and the driver was later articulated dead. Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Railway operator, said that a car that was carrying coal also caught fire. Joe Sloan, BNSF spokesman, said the were crossbucks and stop signs at the crossing.
