Sylvester Turner, who is the Mayor of Houston, endorsed Michael Bloomberg for president. His backing comes as Bloomberg's most high-profile Texas endorsement yet. It brings another nod from a well-admired black elected official amid pushback over his use of "Stop and Frisk" policies while he was mayor of NYC. Turner said in his statement that Mike embraced New York's diversity as a mayor and made smart investments to bring better infrastructure and greater opportunities to the people.
America needs a president who knows how to run the cities. This is why he is proud to endorse Mike for president. He is looking forward to sending him to Washington in November.
