Downtown Houston: Body found floating in Buffalo Bayou
The death of a person is being investigated by the police who found their body floating in Buffalo Bayou. The body was discovered on Thursday in downtown Houston and was reported at 10 a.m. The report came in after it was found in the waters off Allen’s Landing Park. According to the Police, they have found the body but didnot reveal any further information about it. There was no foul play suspected at the scene, as per the authorities.

Long term agreement signed between Port of Galveston and Royal Caribbean Cruises
The Port of Galveston signs a long term contract for a new $100 million cruise terminal with Royal Caribbean Cruises.
This terminal is expected to be completed by November 2021, and it will become Allure of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ships.
Rodger Rees, Port Director, and CEO that it is a historic moment for both Galveston and Port. He also included that this partnership will bring economic growth to the region because it will generate new jobs, spending, and tax revenues. He further said that it would attract more tourists, and Galveston is on course to become a global destination for cruising.
The two-story terminal will cover 170,000 square feet on 10 acres, and it will also feature state-of-the-art technology with facial recognition and mobile check-ins.
Port will take responsibility for parking, maintenance, and improvements that will help to accommodate large vessels. The allure of the Seas will be provided with $165 million amplification before sailing into Galveston, and it will include Ultimate Abyss that is the tallest slide at sea that has a 10-story plunge.
The ship will also include multi-story waterslides, restaurants, bars, and an arcade. It is expected that the construction of the terminal will begin in April.
During northwest Harris County home invasion, 2 sought after man killed
During a home invasion on Monday night, a man was shot and killed at a northwest Harris County apartment complex. The reports of shooting came in at 9:30 p.m. at West Road on Easton Commons Drive.
As per the Harris County deputies, Tre Cain's girlfriend called two man have broken into their apartment and had shot Cain while robbing the family. Deputies further said that they found Cain with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the crime scene.
Agents said that it seems two men with masks and gloves raged into the condo and open fired the deadly shots. The men fled the scene after Cain's sweetheart gave them what cash she had, they said.

Male African lion of Brookfield Zoo, Zenda dies
The Brookfield Zoo said its male African lion Zenda has died at age 13. The death of the male African lion was announced by the zoo on Friday. If he had been alive, he would have turned 14 in July. According to the officials of the zoo, Zenda was facing problem in walking and standing juts before Christmas. Although the veterinarians gave him the required treatment but his health declined unusually on Thursday, as per the officials of the zoo. This resulted in euthanizing him by the zoo.
Revealed through necropsy, the zoo said that tthe loin was found to have multiple ruptured degenerative discs due to old age. These ruptures were found in his spine and the discs couldn't be operated anymore. Zenda, a geriatric lion, arrived at the zoo in the month of May 2008.
In a statment released by the zoo officials, upon his death, it was said that, "In his later years, he began losing his impressive mane, but his impressive roar could often be heard from across the park."
Zenda mated with Isis who had also come to the zoo in 2008 and will turn 15 in 2020. The health of Isis will be closely monitored by the zoo staff as she adjusts to the loss of Zenda.

О том что было украдена машина “VAZ 2103” заявление в правоохранительные органы подал владелец автомобиля, парень восемнадцати лет который третьего января не обнаружил свою машину на месте. Полицейские при розыске автомобиля обнаружили его в Семиульске. А немного времени спустя и друга хозяина автомобиля семнадцати лет.
С рассказа парня второго января ночью он знал что машина не заперта сел в автомобиль соединил провода зажигания и поехал кататься по улицам города. На улице просто оставил машину и ушёл.
По данному преступлению было заведено уголовное дело по статье сто шестьдесят шестой Уголовного кодекса Российской Федерации. Парню грозит до пяти лет колонии.
Пожар в общежитии из за которого сгорела комната.
В Воронеже в студенческом общежитии по улице Хользунова сорок четыре четвертого января в субботу произошел пожар. В дежурную часть сообщение о пожаре поступило без пяти минут десять до полудня. На место происшествия выехало двенадцать машин и различной техники. Об этом прессе было сообщено из Главного управления министерства чрезвычайных ситуаций Воронежской области.
На пятом этаже общежития загорелась комната. Из-за сильного дыма из здания было выведено восемьдесят человек. Четверо из них выходило оттуда в масках. Сейчас сотрудниками пожарных служб устанавливается причина возгорания. Согласно их данным пострадавших в пожаре нету.
Это уже второй пожар за сутки в Воронеже в результате которого жильцы комплексов покидают свои дома и выходят на улицу, чтобы не подвергаться опасности. Ранее в новостной ленте появлялась информация о возгорании в многоэтажном доме из которого было выведено десять человек.
