JACKSONVILLE MAYOR WANTS 2.2 MILLIONS DOLLAR FOR TIAA BANK FIELD UPGRADES
The county is looking to invest $2.3 million on upgrades and improvements at T.I.A.A Bank Fields under a request by Jacksonville President. The plan came with the Jags prepare to play their 1st full house games schedule since 2012.
If the grants are accepted, the Jags would try to fix the outdated river system, lifts and stairs of the stadium directly. It will also install LED lights. President recommended that the improvements be compensated for by the Florida Times-Union from the general budget of the county, all of which are granted by residents.
The community operates T.I.A.A Bank Field and takes liability for renovations and upkeep, while the Jaguars retain almost all football-related earnings.
President advocated for emergency measures that will speed up the election cycle and allow it to happen in 2 weeks. Jags may want updates to be completed before the preseason's explanation. This may be between 13-17 August—the date of their 1st game in the preseason.
This plan comes as the city is facing unclear financial prospects because of the coronavirus outbreak. A voting could be early in May.
ADULT AND A CHILD RESCUED FROM A RIPPED CURRENT NEAR NEPTUNE BEACH
The weather channel informed on Saturday afternoon that there was a strong chance of rip tides at coasts in northeastern Florida and southeastern Georgia.
A kid and a man were trapped in a rip current at around 3 pm, as per Officer Gary Sidney of the Neptune Beach law enforcement. It occurred between the coasts surrounding Neptune as well as the Atlantic.
Sidney stated that a rescuer went out to rescue them in the water. They have been admitted to the nearby medical center, he added. It was not obvious what their situation was.
Rescuer says they 'd like to keep the people out of the water, and only allow the swimmer to go at the level of knee dip water.
But sometimes the current was strong and your foot could slip off. There are alert signals and signs for you. Green situations indicate that the currents are calm. Yellow situations are somewhat riskier but can go into the water. Red implies heavy waves, and/or high tides. If you see 2 warning flags, then just don't go in. Rescuer told.
Have a discussion with the rescuer regarding the possible risks and strength of the waves whether there is ever any doubt about what the water quality is.

Star-Koch Gordon Ramsay muss Kredite aufnehmen - BLICK.CH
