Cooling centres opened in the City of Los Angeles amid the heatwave.
The Department of Recreation and Parks of Los Angeles has announced on Friday that it has activated four cooling centres to help people during the high temperatures that will continue through the weekend. Though the stay-at-home orders are still in place, the officials said that the centres would follow social distancing guidelines during the hours of operation. The heatwave warning began on Friday morning, and it will remain in effect through 6 PM Saturday. The cooling centres will open at 11 AM and will close at 6 PM. It includes 10,746 people who died after being tested positive for the infection and 5,102 of those who had the symptoms but died before they could be checked for COVID-19. The officials again said that the tally figures include deaths from several previous days as it takes time to process the paperwork.
Queens has the most COVID-19 cases at 45,313, followed by Brooklyn at 38,727, the Bronx at 32,862, Manhattan at 18,252, and Staten Island at 10,917.

"I felt major cause-free already & I checked confirmed for corona virus," Sanche said.
Sanche stated his intention was to use his condition to support others. He wanted to give plasma to, but several problems came up.
He stayed a little while after being checked on April Fourteen, then decided to follow health guidelines and to isolate at the house.
He confirmed for the 3rd time on April twenty-one, weeks after initially feeling signs.
He had doubts than if he encountered the infection himself previously.
He told the test also poses more concerns about whether the virus is died or active.

El ajuste del salario mínimo y el cestaticket se eleva desde los Bs. 450 mil en un 77,7% que, al expresarlo en dólares, al cálculo de la tasa del Banco Central de Venezuela (Bs. 171.072,85) se sitúa en un total de 4,6 dólares. A la espera de la lista de precios oficial con el que el Ejecutivo aspira a regular 27 productos, el nuevo ingreso mínimo de los venezolanos apenas alcanza para comprar un cartón de 30 huevos, que actualmente tiene un valor de mercado de justamente Bs. 800 mil. En la región El salario mínimo más bajo en la región de América Latina es el de Venezuela con $4,6 de acuerdo con el ajuste decretado este lunes 27 de abril y el más alto alcanza los US$520. En algunos países como México, Uruguay y por supuesto Colombia, ya se han realizado ajustes del salario con el inicio del año; otros cambiaron sus salarios mínimos en el transcurso de los últimos meses.
