Southern California mountains: High-wind warnings may come due to gusty north to northeasterly winds
Across the mountains of Southern California, strong and damaging winds are expected from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday. This was reported by the National Weather Service. In the local mountains, the wind may reach as high as 60 to 65 mph. This also includes the higher peaks of the Santa Monica Mountains.
In most areas, high-wind warnings cam on Sunday afternoon or evening and continued to remain in effect Monday 3 a.m. in Santa Barbara County, Tuesday in Orange, San Bernardino County, Riverside, and San Diego county, or Monday afternoon in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

On Thursday morning, a deadly incident occurred inside a restaurant in which a man stabbed the restaurant patrons. People of Downtown Los Angeles were on high alert after the incident news.

Kidnapper arrested at Burbank Airport
On Saturday, the Sheriff's Department of Los Angeles said that one person was arrested in case of attempting to flee out of the country, along with two young kidnapped children.

While the Department of Finance has released a statement, "We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to drivers, though there are other ways to pay parking meters. NYC parking meters accept coins, payment using the ParkNYC app."
The Department of Transport said that their crew is working to fix the problem, but it might take some time as there are tens of thousands of meters across the city.
