Miami authorities imposed a curfew
The South Beach curfew was introduced on Saturday and runs from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. During curfew, tourists and hotel guests are not allowed to go outside. The area will be closed to pedestrians and cars.
It is not known how long the curfew will last, but interim city manager Raul Aguila told the Midnight Herald that he recommends keeping it until at least April 12. The county already has a curfew since midnight due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
