José Maldonado Presidente of the Nationa Miami
José Maldonado Presidente of the National Association of the Gypsy Minor and the families affected by the retreat of tutelage of its children with declarations of neglect based on false, manipulated, prevaricated reports and with occultism, are living through an odyssey with the COVID 19 most known as CORONAVIRUS.
In Spain on March 10, 2020, the Autonomous Communities and the Central Government began to take measures for the contagion of COVID 19 (coronavirus). On March 12, they ordered the closure of all schools in the country and on March 13, the President of the Government Pedro Sanchez decreed social alarm for national security due to the COVID 19 pandemic (coronavirus).
The President of the Government has established several protocols for some citizens of Spain, and we say some because he has forgotten children under the tutelage of the Spanish State public administrations and their families. In view of this situation today, March 16, 2020 there is no information telephone number, protocol or measures to be taken for juvenile centers in residential or minor foster care provided by the public administration of the Spanish State. Meeting points for private visits such as Bizgarri are open but however there are no visits for parents, nor is there an option to call children to know how they are, there is no option for children to go through quarantine at home.
Children who are in a residential center are exposed to the continuous spread of COVID 19 (coronavirus), and more unprotected than if they were at home with their family because the center's educators as well as other employees come in and out continuously. Today, in fact, 65% of children in these centers, even though they have been recruited without leaving, have been infected with COVID 19.
These children ask their parents for constant help to return home on each visit, ask to speak to a judge and be heard and are more vulnerable to this situation. sick and with the feeling of abandonment and there has been no prosecutor or family judge who has pronounced himself.
it is sad that this whole situation is ignored by the President of the Spanish Government, its Governors, Judges, Prosecutors, and other senior public officials and that the National Association of the Gypsy Minor as well as the families affected need to ask for help in other countries in order to have justice, Because as we have already seen in the news of the United States with the prostitution of children tutelated by the Spanish State, in Spain they censor everything and refuse to investigate.
We urge that appropriate procedures be carried out and visits with children urgently monitored, following current health recommendations, be resumed in order to guarantee the fundamental Rights of Children and not to cause irreparable harm to children.
