President Donald Trump was greeted by a mix of boos and cheers Saturday night as he walked into Madison Square Garden to attend the Mixed Martial Arts Final Fighting Championship.

The appearance was his first in New York City since announcing that he had changed his permanent residence to Florida, and it was also the first time that a sitting president attended the MMA event.

The reaction came only six days after Trump was rounded up at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., where he was in the World Series.

Edward Norton's latest Motherless Brooklyn project is the first one he produced, directed and acted in.

A black detective film set in New York in the 1950s, the film shows Norton playing Lionel, a private eye with Tourette's Syndrome. He bends and blurs the words— as is characteristic of Tourette's. He's smart, too, with an amazing memory.

Long in the making, Motherless Brooklyn is based on Jonathan Lehem's 1999 novel of the same name, written in the ' 90s. But Norton shifted his film to the ' 50s, partly to explore a long-standing obsession with the influential urban planner Robert Moses, and New York City reshaped the work behind the scenes of Moses: "The dark, shadow story of how New York was actually built — discrimination that was kind of baked into the city," Norton said during an interview.

Norton even invented the character of Alec Baldwin, Moses Randolph, to stand up for Robert Moses. "And it suddenly seemed to me that ... if we went to the ' 50s, Lionel could be a terrific vehicle to get deep into the gloom of what happened in New York at that time," Norton says.

When Meb Keflezighi ran his first seventh-grade competitive race, his motivation was easy: getting a t-shirt for his school running club that his older brothers always wore.

Yet, having run a mile in five minutes, 20 seconds, he found that he had a rare talent. His teacher told him, "You're going to go to the Olympics" at the time, and word spread quickly in the school.

Police officials in New York have caught a speed-demon drug dealer. Arfhy Santos, who goes by the name of “Coyote,” is well renowned for the high-speed getaways. He ran out of the road on Monday. Police and Federal agents have tracked him to a nightclub in the Bronx. “Coyote” almost ran over a cop in Times Square last year. He also nearly mowed over a woman and her dog in August while escaping from a DEA task force on the Upper East Side. The members of a federal drug task force of New York saw the Instagram posts of Santos. It was here that they realized he would be partying in Boca, on Webster Avenue in Foldham Heights. The officials waited for him at the location according to various reports. The cops and agents arrested him before he got in his BMW when Santos got out at 4 AM from the club on Monday.

The staff at the zoo compiled a list of their favorite moments with Bei Bei, like his first steps or his first food. He will ride on a FedEx B777 aircraft to Chengdu, China.

Nancy Pelosi, who is the House Speaker, said in her statement that she is expecting to see U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement getting passes before Chrismas. This is going to be good news for Republicans who had been pushing for a vote on the trade deal for months. She said that she wanted to see it getting wrapped up by the end of this year, and it has become her goal to complete this task. She said that Democrats are discussing the final details with the administration, and she is happy with the progress. She said everyone is in the right place, and the template looks promising for the future trade agreement. Kansas Republican Roger Marshall and Pennsylvania Republican Glenn Thompson both noted in their statements that this agreement has been long overdue, and it is high time it gets wrapped up.
