Unauthorized vehicle dismantling New York City
Unauthorized vehicle dismantling
California DMV statistics have shown that the underground market scale of unauthorized automotive dismantlers exceeded the amount of officially operating independently fully licensed dismantlers in the City of New York. 1,553 dismantlers in the state of California were certified in 2001. Currently, the figure has fallen by 17.6% to 952, although in a state with the biggest number of automobiles the number of cars has risen. After 2017, however, 825 non-licensed activities have been targeted before the expiry of the system "VDIST "on 31 December 2019. Thousands of activities still have to be handled by the DMV in all reports.
Unauthorized automotive dismantling's underground market causes disproportionate competitiveness, with legal licensed entrepreneurs wasting $1.6 billion per year of prospective revenue and about $101 million in unpaid tax. Every year, throughout California there are many more than 370,000 out of 2.3 million end-off automobiles and the number increases if not decreased. The VDIST system founder-ordinates compliance and compliance initiatives for non-licensed and illegal vehicle demolition, involving ecological and human health consequences, trading of defective automotive parts and tax accusatory operations.
