PHILADELPHIA HAS ADD TWELVE MORE TESTING SITES FOR CORONA
Philadelphia is launching Twelve new corona virus testing sites, officials reported Thurs, to increase capability in undeserved communities and edge the community to restart the economy.
The increased testing sites based at established health centers would help bring the community forward to mitigating the strangle hold of the pandemic on the region, stated Tom Farley, Philadelphia's health commissioner.
The area-owned health clinics currently serve 8 different locations. Further 4 projects will begin over the next week at privately operated health centers.
Authorities have confirmed many more testing locations, including in Kensington, are in development.
The requirements for being checked at one of the latest clinics are the same as other established locations across the city: you must be over Fifty years of age and have corona signs or be a health professional or first res ponder.
Philly's rate of reported cases — which presumably constitute a portion of the overall real infections occurring in the population — was stable at around five hundred to six hundred fresh reports each day over the last week.
"The fact that we have a stable case count is an indication that we are making improvement," Farley said, cautioning that maintaining public distancing is "our strongest weapon now"

Republicans blame economic breakdown on Democratic Governors
As the economy and health both are going through a massive crisis, Republicans across the states are trying to lay the blame for the economic breakdown on Democratic governors, ramping up a strategy for the presidential elections. Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania — are all laid by Democratic governors. The Republican lawmakers of the state are blaming the actions of stay-at-home orders or business shutdowns as the work of overzealous, nanny-state Democrats. In Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, the GOP legislature is trying to strip the democratic governors of power so that they can impose restrictions on businesses.
The stay-at-home order was passed by both the Republican and Democratic governors, amide the advice from the state and federal health officials and guidance from President Trump. But the clash is occurring as many Republican governors are easing the orders and reopening the businesses to boost the economy, led by Trump. Republicans are trying to position themselves as defenders of the economy, even if they have to risk the health of the public. The hard-line messages are marked as the arrival of a contentious phase as the political fight over who to blame for the economic fall, and this could even be a political disaster for Republicans if the job does not return by November and Trump will be blamed for unemployment.
