According to her COVID-19 closures and rising temperatures are a deadly combination. "It's terrifying. Water fountains are gone. Bathrooms are gone," says Venable.

These conditions had laid some organizations to change their relief strategies. One such organization is the Andre House in Phoenix. Elizabeth Wunsch, Director of Volunteer Services and Communication at the Andre House, said: "They used to come into our dining hall during the day and fill our halls. They can't do that anymore,"

Due to social distancing, many past respite areas are unavailable. Andre House has been able to convert outside shaded areas for some relief. The non-profit provides water and ice to guests, but Wunsch says care is "very, very complicated, and the heat only makes it worse."

COVID-19 restrictions had even created purchasing water cases a challenge. "We do need donations of water. This is the time of year we typically start getting it," said Wunsch.

Meanwhile, Venable says she has to visit stores at its opening and buys as much water she can buy.

Salvation Army to start heat stations soon with proper cleanliness guidelines

The Salvation Army helps fight heat in Arizona in the entire Valley region. But this summer, the challenges had increased for them. A major at Salvation Army, David Yardley, says that they have to provide help for two purposes, COIVD-19 and heat relief. They will provide water and even air conditioning at some locations and hand sanitizer, and other PPE had been added to the list this year. This year the army will take special care of cleanliness and sanitization.

The heat stations are open from 11 am to 5 pm for anyone in need on the days when National Weather Service issues Excessive Heat Warning.

Phoenix cops are investigating a firing that took place late Sat evening.

Officials claim a lady is contacting authorities to complain that when she noticed gunshots she was sitting in front of an building.

It occurred between twenty-seventh avenues and Glendale.

Police state the lady was having a very mild condition and did not have to go to a facility.

Investigators also discovered signs of a firing and are focusing on finding out who shot a pistol.

The inquiry is still open.

Mall going to re-open on Friday in Houston

Many of the malls are going to re-open kin Houston on Friday once again. Many of the customers are excited to see them and go there for shopping. As the order has been made by the governor.
