Coronavirus test kits were stolen by a burger
A man was seen stealing 29 COVID-19 test kits. The incident occurred at the El Rio Health Centre, 839 West Congress Street, at around 8 pm. At that time, employees were about to close the facility. The staff didn't notice the missing test kits until the next morning, TPD said.
The surveillance footage shows a Hispanic man in the 30s, height between 5’9” and 5’11” with a large build, disguised as a delivery driver. He had a full beard, with some greying. He left the scene in a red colored Dodge Charger or a similar vehicle.
Police said that the tests are of no use without a fully equipped testing lab, and trained staff to interpret the results. They also added that home test kits for the virus don’t exist. The Police also informed anyone who talks about trying to sell the kits should contact law enforcement. The stolen kits are said to have been replaced at the Health Facility, but they could have been used for future tests.

Amid Coronavirus Outbreak, New Jersey Residents Ordered to Stay Home
Due the growing of COVID-19, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy had ordered the residents of his state to stay back at home in order to maintain social distance and fight against the pandemic.
His order includes: banning the physical existence of non-essential retail businesses and allowing employees to work from home when it’s possible. An assurance of providing essential social services and medical facilities for the entire state and the town was also made available. Though it pains the honour to impose such orders, this time cannot be taken to maintain a sense of business as it’s necessary to maintain the public health.
Moving out for essential business and recreational activities would be allowed but should continue practice social distancing and six feet away from one another.
As the Governor had telegraphed his decision a day prior, it had moved the Governors of other states such as California, Illinois and New York.
With these, the governor had also asked for $100 billion in federal aid to fight against the virus and the financial strain that would be caused by the stay back home order, as they can’t let the disease run it’s course.
