SAN ANTONIO Alert: You may not able to realize but a government registered sex offender might be en route to your trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
There are nearly 4,000 registered sex offenders in Bexar County, as per the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Although sex offenders' number is rising, it is important to remember that their offenses vary, and so do their risk factors. Many sex offenders have served their sentences in the Jail but as mandated by law they are still required to register as sex offenders.
The Adult Probation Department of Bexar County is organizing Halloween night training sessions to keep sex offenders who police believe got the highest risk factors and sex offenders who are on probation period.
This year will mark the 10th year the training session has been planned by the department, which will keep 650 sex offenders engaged whereas kids enjoy trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES ARRIVED IN SAN ANTONIO

SAN ANTONIO WITNESSED THE UGLY FIRE IN THE SOUTH PADRE CONDO
A San Antonio family was on vacation at a South Padre Island tourist resort where things get quite unconventional on Sat after a huge fire suddenly broke out at a surrounding condo complex.
Reynald Gautier, his spouse, and a Fourteen-year-old daughter remained at the tourist resort at South Padre Island when they experienced the huge fire at the Gulfpoint Condominium complex at approximately 9:00 a.m. And on Sat.
The power of the hotel was cut, high winds were blowing in and Gautier stated his family had been hit with terror at the prospect of the block being swallowed up in smoke.
"They were frightened and I can't do anything for them ... It has become something that you don't always see, "Gautier said during a report to KSAT 12.
High winds reached the area at the same moment as the blaze and Gautier said that Even during heavy rain the blaze was still strong.
Per an earlier article, the structure was destroyed by the fire, with damage cost approximately at about Seven million dollars.
The actual source of the blaze is not known and no injuries have been confirmed.
A SAN ANTONIO COP CASTILLO SUSPENDED FOR FORTY-FIVE DAYS AND SIGNED "LAST OPPORTUNITY DEAL"
A San Antonio police inspector was terminated for one and half months and forced to accept a 'last opportunity deal' in March when police reacted for the 2nd attempt for as many times to the off-duty violent activities including Castillo and a woman, stated in a division termination documents provided this week to a local news channel.
Castillo claimed to be drunk after the dispute at a far West Side residence last October and was suspected of tossing objects belonging to his friend from the house to the front lawn.
He was initially granted a possible permanent termination in Jan but the sentence imposed was later reduced, documents indicate.

SEVENTY-NINE NEW CASES OF COVID-19 AND THREE MORE FATALITIES RECORDED IN SAN ANTONIO
Bexar County authorities recorded seventy-nine additional corona virus incidents & 3 more fatalities on Fri evening. The reported cases reached 2,121 & the sixty-three mortality.
The 3 new fatalities were linked to people also suffering from underlying diseases, an official told the reporter.
Also reported by officials were 1,072 citizens recovered from the infection while 986 are still battling.
At the county prison, 42 corona virus reports were registered, twenty-three were from the community,& 2 additional cases came from a care facility.
Hospitals registered seventy patients with COVID-19, thirty-four cases in the ICU, and twenty-five are on life support.
