Condolences for Oklahoma bombing attack San Francisco
Condolences for Oklahoma bombing attack paid via video conference
The truck bomb attack that took place on April 19 in 1995 destroyed former Alfred P. Murrah Federal embarks it's 25th anniversary this year. Around 168 people died during this bombing attack, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the stay at home order stood as a hindrance to letting the survivors and loved ones of the dead pay their condolences. Instead, everyone paid their tribute via video conference followed by 168 seconds of silence. Among the ones that participated include U. S Senator James Lankford, Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, and actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth. Kate Watkins, the director of Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, said that though people missed out on the chance to pay their homages this year, there would be a next time to do so in a much healthier scenario. The attack was carried out by former army soldier Timothy Mcveigh and Terry Nicholas. They resented the federal government for carrying out a raid on the Davidian branch compound near Waco in Texas that left 76 people of the religious sector dead. Mcveigh, the chief convict, was sentenced to death, and Terry was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Making money in lockdown using video conferencing with animals
People are bored at home as they are not able to go out and have fun due to shut down because of pandemic COVID-19.
In half moon bay California, people are doing video conferencing with animals. The sweet farm is allowing "animal ambassadors" for cameos on video calls. The animals are Paco, the llama, Brownie, the goat, Kevin the pig, and Gizmo, the cow.
They named it "goat-2- meetings. It's a virtual tour in which people ask questions. They make donations starting from $65 to$750, as it depends on the people having a call and how much the duration is. Sweet far is having a partnership with the Woodstock animal sanctuary in New York and Charlie's acres in Napa Valley.
Is this interesting having live animals and having fun this lockdown asking questions. The farm's most demanding call is "goat-2-meeting". It's the first virtual non-profit sanctuary in the world. People are having fun watching the goat, llama, cow, and pig talking, and they can pass their time very well.
Lack of tourism causes piles of seashells to gather in N.C. beaches
North Carolina's Outer Banks is now covered with thousands of seashells that are piling up on their beaches as tourists are being kept away because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The beaches in North Carolina are known famously by seashell collectors because of the different types of seashells that are found there. During the spring, there is usually more sand than shell because they have already been collected and taken home by the tourists. The excess of shells at this time can be attributed to the coronavirus pandemic causing tourists to stay home.
It remains unclear how long the Outer Banks beaches will remain closed. However, President Donald Trump said on Thursday that they were aiming at reopening parts of the country in phases during the coming weeks. Meanwhile, North Carolina's Governor said the Stay-at-Home order has been working, but he too has turned his sights on how to reopen the state in the not-too-distant future safely.
PG&E shuts electricity for maintenance amid shutdown
PG&E will be shutting off their electricity from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, for their East Bay residents. This is a planned outage so that essential maintenance can be carried out. However, may residents are quite angry that PG&E is cutting off electricity when they need it most. The organization claimed that these were public safety projects to prepare for wildfires. However, many are saying that they were just doing long-overdue construction at the worst possible time.
Many families have children studying online and work-from-home parents. Other than that, many of the food and meats that were stored would now become spoiled. This indicated that they would have to make many adjustments. Stephen Dunphy of Danville expressed his frustration and said that after the stay at home order and then the power outage, the situation could not get any worse. Many residents said that now was not the time for maintenance.
PG&E said that the work must be done as fire season looms, threatening the next crisis. Although they understood the potential impact of the outage, the company said it could not reschedule. Kathy Patton of Orinda said she loses her water supply along with the power causing much distress to her. And with sheltering in place, there's nowhere to go for relief.
PG&E told Kathy her electricity would be shut down, not just tomorrow, but another two days this month. She expressed that this was a conflict being asked to stay at home and then lose your home as well.
