Orinda grieves over the shooting of Hall San Francisco
Roses, votive candles and homemade posters hang over the mailbox at 114 Lucille Way in Orinda on Saturday, the scene of a Halloween attack that left five people dead.
The violence that erupted during an unapproved but commonly-promoted "Mansion Party" blew the residents of the quiet East Bay City and began calling for a temporary moratorium on Airbnb rentals.
Police were still looking for suspects examining bullet casings and investigating two guns found at the crime scene as people were struggling to move on. Violence is rare in this wealthy hilly area of Contra Costa County, known for its soccer fields, hilly avenues and the Shakespeare Theatre in California.
