A MAN DIED IN A DOUBLE ATTACK STABBING IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY
As per the Santa Clara Healthcare office, a person murdered in a double stabbing in San Jose's Alum Rock community over the Sunday has been confirmed as 50 year old Gilroy native Francisco Ophelia.
They announced the attack occurred shortly before eight pm On the 401 block North Capitol Ave on a weekend night.
Cops rushed to the scene to find 2 persons, as per cops, both suffered a sharp blade injury each. The victims had been transported to the near medical facility, where one expired from his injury.
San Jose cop Gina Tepoorten stated that no suspects have been charged.
The fatality marked as the 12th homicide of this year in San Jose.

One victim died and other was wounded in a shooting in the East Foothills area of San-Jose, stated San-Jose cops, who were also trying to locate perpetrators later on Sun.

U.S. Attorney David and civil service Officer in Charge Rafael reported a 37-year-old San Jose lady was arrested with grand larceny in federal court Thurs.
An updated criminal report lodged Fri charges that on Apr 18 in San Jose, Paula Orozco robbed debit card from a U.S Mail Department truck.
The robbery was found on Apr 22, when a witness on Apr 18 submitted a complaint of suspicious transactions on a debit card which had been in the mail.
A 2nd theft from a San Jose mail automobile was announced on Wednesday, and Orozco was recognized and arrested because of robbery charges.

ONE MAN STRUCK AND KILLED BY CALTRAIN IN SAN JOSE
An individual trespassing on San Jose railway lines was struck by the Caltrain Saturday afternoon.
The individual had been hit just south of San Jose 's Capitol Platform.
The train went southwards towards Gilroy, the organization stated.
When the accident happened there have been no passengers and crew and the organization expects no disruptions of schedule.
The individual who was struck by the train was not named and it is not evident why he was on the rails.
SAN JOSE REVENUE SHORTFALL, PUSHES IT TO SEEK CUTS IN PUBLIC SAFETY
The city claims tremendous budget shortfall triggered by the disease outbreak is causing public safety reductions.
But law enforcement officials say that if the city is wise about how it wants to spend federal resources, those reductions are not required.
Currently the city council goes to budget discussions. San Jose's Caring Act got one hundred and seventy-eight million dollars. Forces told, the allocation is adequate to avoid any reductions to public defense.

After 2 months of suspension and even concerns from the mayor's office, 4 western Washington casinos are going to open on Mon again.
The announcement comes after the reopening of Angel of the Winds Casino in Snohomish City weeks ago, along with two other casinos in east Washington.
Emerald Queen, managed and maintained by the Puyallup Tribe, said it's trying to restrict the number of guests to one third, but it's unknown how often many individuals represent one-third. Everyone's temperature should be taken up before entering and the hotel remains shut for now.
The new position of the Emerald Queen across that Tacoma's I-5 is planned to begin in June.
In reaction to the corona virus outbreak, all 3 casinos, alongside Angel of the Winds, will be smoke-free and incorporate some other health steps.
Weeks ago, Governer Jay Inslee stated he had some concerns over the reopening of casinos too early. In the third phase, the casinos will open. Washington is in phase 1, with the addition of 9 counties enter into the second phase.
Inslee also said Thurs throughout a meeting. "I've told the groups I 'd be happier if their openings were more compatible with several of our government's business openings."
